Banyak Islands holds world-class waves with a variety of right and lefts. Therefore you can surf long cruising walls, deep barrels, fast peelers and perfect peaks. To get to the waves there is a Zodiac, Porkchop centre console tinny and an 18ft Powercat boat set up for high-speed inter-island surf missions.

The Seriti is a 25-meter aluminium crew boat built in the US. It’s fully customised for surf charters in Sumatra and cruises at up to 15 knots maximum. The charter offers spacious living areas. The lounge area is fully airconditioned and has an entertainment area with TV/DVD/music installation.

Seriti has 12 beds of which 10 king singles and 2 doubles. Therefore it sleeps up to 14 surfers maximum. The 2 cabins are fully air-conditioned with a reading light and power socket for every passenger. Most power points are Indo plugs, so bring an adapter!

The upper sunset lounge offers 360º views and is fully covered for all conditions. With a huge deck that is hard covered, so you can hide from the sun. It is wired for sound and has a bar fridge for your refreshments. From here you can enjoy watching your mates surf, relax or gaze at the most spectacular sunsets views.

The crew onboard are Indonesian, Japanese and Australian. The owner and skipper, Mr Suzuki, and his assistant surf guide will guide you around the islands. Above all, he knows the area inside out.

They offer a varied menu with Western and Indonesian food. Let us know if you have special dietary requirements. With the fishing equipment on board, you might catch your own dinner. But you are welcome to bring your own gear, especially your tracers and lures.

The professional photographer on board offers a photo package at US$ 220. So bring a portable hard drive or 4GB memory stick if you are interested.

The Seriti starts trips from the port of Lahewa in North Nias. A full transfer service from Kuala Namu International Airport in Medan is available. Ask for details. You can get to Medan via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Jakarta.
